Tamarind or yellow rice
ingredients:
green chilli-5
curry leaf-2
oil-3tsp
mustardseeds-1tsp
cumin seeds-1tsp
chana dal-2tsp
salt-to taste
turmeric powder-1/4tsp
red chilli-4
ground nuts-1cup
tamarind pulp-1/2cup
rice-3cups
hing
Sesame-1tsp
preparation:
- Cook the rice.
- Fry sesame seeds,dnt fry too much ,grained it.
- Take tamarind and wash it.after wash soak tamarind in one glass of water for 15 to 20 minuts and made tamarind juice.
- Add oil in the pan,add red chilli,mustard seeds,chana dal,cumin seeds,ground nuts ofter few seconds add curry leafs,turmeric powder,hing,green chilli ofter 1minute add tamarind juice.
- Add sesame seeds powder and salt in to the tamarind pulp and cook until mixture thickenes.
- This prepared tamarind masala mix to the rice and mix well and serve.
